URBAN RIDES

WEDNESDAY URBAN RIDE:
The regular Wednesday evening ride is an Urban Road Ride that leaves from Urban Bicycle Gallery at 6:30pm. The route is downtown and is around 20-23miles with the average of 18mph.  Please have a light on the front and back of your bike. Helmet required.

SATURDAY URBAN RIDE:
7-8am: A short 10 mile loop of inner city. Average speed 12-14 mph.
8am: Saturday Rides are also Urban Road Rides from Urban Bicycle Gallery. The routes are around 20-25miles average 18-20 mph.  Speed may vary depending on who shows.  This route goes through many of the inner city neighborhoods: The Heights, Garden Oaks, and Oak Forest. . Helmet required.

Sunday Rides are also an Urban Road Ride from the Urban Bicycle Gallery at 8am. Speed may vary depending on who shows, average 18-20mph. On Sunday you can ride 22 or 42 miles. First 22 miles we all stay together and then if you’d like to head back to the shop you can or you can add an extra 20 miles.

Rides will be cancelled if the weather conditions are rainy, or icy (when in doubt call the store).

OUT OF TOWN ROUTES

Fayette County bike routes: 32, 36 and 42 mile routes. These are not our routes but it they have them posted on the Fayette site.  It’s a great place to ride. For more information type " Fayette County bike routes" into Yahoo! Search and it should bring you to the page. Please ride safe follow the rules of the road. Try to ride with a few friends on the country roads, and ride single file as much as possible.
