BIKE FRIDAY
We are the exclusive Houston dealer for the best folding bikes ever made. Each Bike Friday is handmade in Oregon. Unlike other folding bikes BFs fit like your full size bike. Just to test this out I rode a stock Bike Friday Sport on a Wednesday night club-ride. It was our typical 20-mile in town ride where everyone rides race bikes at a pretty respectable pace. I was able to keep up with the group and even pull ahead at times. That little bike is fast and the fit was just like my Merlin road bike.

NEW LOCATION
If you haven’t checked out our new location, we are just around the corner from our old store. Pass up our old location and make the first left. We are on the left side.  We are two blocks north of Washington on Nett ST, between Durham and Shepherd.  

MS150 TEAM
This year was our 6th year to have a MS150 Team. Our riders were great as always. Our team has raised $65,000 (so far). GREAT JOB UBGER’S!

We didn’t let a little rain get us down. We had 60 riders drive out to the LaGrange ranch on Saturday afternoon (the official UBG campsite). We had a great BBQ , some massages, beer and a great night’s sleep. Most of our riders were not in a big hurry  on Sunday. Some of our faster riders took off and finished in record time but the majority of us rode in a double pace line, enjoying the scenery, the company and the ride. We had around 25-30 of us pull into the finish line together.  It was another great MS150 experience. We finished up the season with our annual crawfish boil at UBG.

BASIC MOUNTAIN BIKE SKILL CLASS
If you are new to mountain biking, join us Sunday, May 17th at 8am at our UBG test ride track at Urban Bicycle Gallery for a basic skills class followed by a ride at the Memorial Park trails (weather permitting). This class will cover techniques necessary for effective trail riding. There is no cost but you do need a mountain bike and a helmet.
