Tom Wurth. I began my career in the bicycle industry in 1983 working at Buck’s Bikes in Austin while going to UT. I later moved back to Houston and worked at a number of local shops. While working at West End Bikes I began racing mountain bikes all over Texas. That was my main obsession from the mid 80’s to about 1991. In 1993 I became a sales representative for Bridgestone Bicycles. I was with them for a year until they quit selling bikes in the U.S.  I moved to the Trek Corporation in 1994 where I traveled throughout Texas and Louisiana selling bikes to bike shops until the end of 2002. This gave me an opportunity to ride most of the mountain bike trails in both states and learn from a lot of different shops. At Trek I also had a chance to work with and learn from some of the most influential players in the industry including: Gary Fisher, Greg Lemond, Gary Klein, Keith Bontrager and Trek president - John Burke.

I enjoy participating in a variety of different sports; however, cycling has been my chief preoccupation for the past 20 years. I have been in the bike business my entire adult life. I’m one of those “lifers.”

Judy Wurth has been a Hair Stylist and Trainer for Visible Changes Hair Salon for the last 23 years. She has been riding bikes for a little while longer than that. She enjoys road riding and is a twelve-time veteran of the MS 150. She brings a woman's touch to the shop, making all the women's clothing selections and contributing her considerable marketing and interpersonal skills. She is usually found at the shop only on the weekends because of her continuing responsibilities at Visible Changes.

John Vancas is a surfer and cyclist. He began working in shops at the age of 13 so he’s been on the scene from the advent of BMX, to the introduction of the mountain bike, to the present time. He’s a “lifer” too. He has worked at Daniel Boone’s, Recycled Cycles and Cyclone, but he has never been more at home than right here.

David Goodman is a road cyclist who has ridden in the MS150 and the Moonlight Ramble many times. He is a MIS guy who decided to make a career change and jump into the bike industry . He has completed The Barnett Bicycle Institute's Mechanics Training and has the requisite sense of humor for Urban Bicycle.

Brad Pender- Brad Pender is a college kid who likes to ride his Giant Trance x2 and his 24" cruiser. He also plays a little guitar and hangs out in un-airconditioned foul smelling bars smoking cigarettes and chatting up chicks with tattoos.
