Road bikes are what some old schoolers refer to as “ten speeds” or “racing bikes”.
They are the type of bike Lance Armstrong rides. They are also the type of bike that people use on multi-day tours through the wine country in California, or to see the Fall leaves while riding through small towns in Maine, or to ride from Houston to Austin with 13,000 other riders on the MS150. They are also the type of bike used by the UBG Cycling Club on their weekly club rides.
