Ready to move up to a better cool-weather jersey? The Tutto Nano RoS Jersey features a number of upgrades compared to what you've probably been using. First is the stretch fit that moves perfectly with you, made possible by the Nano Flex 3G fabric, the same fabric we use to make our arm and leg warmers as well as our Sorpasso tights. This close-to-body fit actually makes the jersey warmer by avoiding fabric flapping in the wind. Second is the tighter knit of the fabric compared to traditional thermal jersey fabrics. It lets less air through so you stay warmer. Next is Castelli's proprietary nanotechnology water-repellent finish. On dry days you won't even know it's there, but when you get some light rain or wet roads then you stay drier. Last is the 360° reflectivity, thanks to the panels on the shoulders and lower back. Does gravel need a new dress code? maybe, but with fat tires and big-tubed bikes with bags on them, an aero jersey just doesn't look right. But why should you give up performance and comfort? that's the concept behind this jersey: all the performance of Castelli's best jerseys except the aerodynamics. First, we created a new fabric with leading Italian knitter Borgini. The lightweight fabric has a small horizontal stripe and a gorgeous soft hand. It maintains outstanding moisture management and ample horizontal stretch but has limited vertical stretch so your pockets don't sag. And it blocks 98% of uv rays. The jersey has a neutral fit to it: straighter in the body, extra space across the chest. Less drop from front to back. We reached for a stretch woven fabric that gives great stretch but in an unbelievably lightweight yet durable fabric. We gave it a DWR finish so mud and water roll-off. We gave the short two top-opening pockets like jeans so that whatever you put in there won't fall out. We made the cut fairly close to the body so you look good off the bike but the short doesn't balloon out when you're on the bike. It all just kinda disappears. The short doesn't have its own seat pad, so wear this over your favorite Castelli short. The Superleggera is a good choice for warmer weather, or the Unlimited if you want the extra pockets.

The fabric is extremely light, just 165 grams per square meter, but hard wearing thanks to 64% Cordura yarns. The 10% elastane gives it four-way stretch. Not only does it dry quickly, but the water-repellent fabric treatment means it sheds light rain and stays cleaner. The cut is slightly looser so it moves with you, never restricting. Yet the adjustable webbing belt at the waist lets you lock it in place so it won't slide down. The ideal tight for most of your winter riding, the Velocissimo is focused on comfort for riding in mild to cool conditions. We've used our Thermoflex fabric for most of the tight. It's not our warmest fabric, nor does it repel water like Nano Flex, but it is the softest, stretchiest winter tight fabric. The comfort is immediate and lasting. For the lower leg from just below the knee, we switch to our Nano Flex fleeced stretch-woven fabric that's both warm and highly water repellent for protection against spray coming off wet roads.
